  1) WWW: Start well with a solid Q1.      EBI: Don't leave questions blank (Q3).              Focus on the question more in Q2 on social and cultural contexts. 2) Points I've missed out on for each question:     Q1: Excellent and judicious use of the theoretical framework (media language and narrative theory) to analyse how a poster uses narrative codes.     Q2 :Good Knowledge and understanding of the influences of social and cultural     Q3: understand and have good knowledge of the influences of genre on media audiences and industry and supported with examples. 3) Read this  exemplar response  from a previous Year 12 (an A grade) - note this was a slightly different paper in terms of the question wording and also had an additional question 4 (we've updated it to better reflect recent exams).  Identify at least  one  potential point for questions 1-3 from this student's paper ...

Feedback:   WWW: Your blog is nearly 100% up-to-date – the two unfinished pieces (coloured amber on the tracker) just need to be put right for a fully green tracker. I like a lot of your answers on the blog so far – good reflections on your media consumption and an understanding of the main ideas we’ve covered in the opening weeks. I particularly like your plan to engage with Apple News – this will hopefully give you access to a range of news sources and magazines that will open up your media consumption and offer a variety of perspectives and media products. I’m delighted you want to apply to university and this course should develop your academic skills over the next two years in order to prepare you for that. The term 'cultural industry' refers to the creation, production and distribution of products of a cultural or artistic nature. 2 ) What does Hesmondhalgh identify regarding the societies in which the cultural industries are highly profitable?  Hesmondhalgh identifies that the societies in which the cultural industries are highly profitable tend to be societies that support the conditions where large companies, and their political allies, make money.
